COMMUNITY HOME COMPANIONSHIP CIC

Connection, Care and Confidence in the Community

Supporting isolated, elderly, disabled and vulnerable adults through companionship, well-being support, food assistance and community connection.

Our story

Community Home Companionship CIC was created in response to a growing need within our local community: many elderly, disabled and vulnerable adults are living with loneliness, reduced confidence, limited mobility, poor access to food and fewer opportunities for meaningful social connection.
"For some people, the biggest need is not complicated. It is a regular friendly face. A phone call. A gentle walk. Help accessing food. Encouragement to stay active. Support to reconnect with local services. Someone who notices when things are beginning to change."
By offering befriending, companionship, well-being activities and practical assistance, we help people feel less alone and more able to remain connected to everyday life. Our work is rooted in dignity, kindness, independence and prevention.
